When a Company Owner invites you, how you join depends on whether you already have a FieldFaktor account. Both paths end in the same place: you are a team member on the company, signed in with one email and password that work in the field app and the dashboard alike.
New to FieldFaktor: the invite email#
- Open the invitation email from FieldFaktor and select Accept Invitation. The link expires in 7 days — if it has, ask your Owner to resend the invite.
- You land on the Complete your account screen. Enter your Full Name, an optional Phone Number, and choose a password of at least 15 characters, then agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Select Complete Setup. Your account is ready, and you are taken to your company's dashboard.
Already have an account: accept inside the app#
If your email already has a FieldFaktor account, no setup link is needed — the invitation waits for you at your next sign-in:
- On the field app Projects screen, a card reads Invitation to join {company} with the note that accepting joins you as a team member. Tap Accept.
- If you have no company yet, the onboarding screen leads with You've been invited instead. Tap Accept & Join on the invitation card — or create your own company below it if you would rather work independently.
- The dashboard shows the same invitation as a banner with Accept and Decline buttons.
You can belong to multiple companies at once — accepting an invite does not change your access to any other company you are part of.
What you see as a team member#
By default, you see your own projects plus anything shared with or assigned to you — not the whole company's list. The Owner can widen that per person: on the dashboard's Team tab, the Enable view all control gives a team member visibility into every company project. See Team for the Owner-side controls, including credit-use and delete permissions.
