Creating a FieldFaktor account takes a few minutes and no payment card. You sign up, confirm your email, and name your company — even solo operators get a company, because it is the container that holds your projects and credits.

  1. Go to app.fieldfaktor.com/signup. (In the field app, the sign-in screen's Need an account? Sign up link opens an equivalent sign-up form there; the steps below follow the dashboard flow, and the field app's labels differ slightly.)
  2. Enter your Full Name and Email.
  3. Choose a Password and re-enter it under Confirm Password. Passwords must be at least 15 characters — spaces are allowed, and capitals and symbols are optional. FieldFaktor also checks every new password against known breach records and rejects any that appear there, so pick a long passphrase you have not used elsewhere.
  4. Check I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  5. Select Create Account.

Confirm your email#

FieldFaktor sends a confirmation link to the address you entered, and the screen tells you to check your inbox.

  • If the email does not arrive, use Resend Confirmation Email. The button has a short cooldown between sends.
  • Opening the link lands on the confirmation page, which verifies the link and moves you on to company setup. If the link is invalid or has expired, the page says so — request a fresh one from the resend button.

Name your company#

After confirming, you land on the company setup screen.

  1. Enter a name under Company or Your Name. This is the name that shows on your reports. Working solo? Use your own name — you can add your crew any time.
  2. Add a phone number under Phone (optional) if you like.
  3. Select Create Account.

You become the Owner of the new company: you control billing, project credits, and who is on the team. To bring on teammates later, see Join your company and the dashboard's Team tab.

Your 5 free project credits#

The moment your company exists, 5 free project credits land in the company wallet automatically. No card is required, and nothing bills monthly. One credit is consumed per project when its first report package generates — after the free 5, the Owner can buy more at $30 each from the dashboard. See Billing and credits.
