A completion visit is the after story — the same property, photographed again once the work is done, such as after the repair. FieldFaktor builds the re-walk checklist for you from what the inspection documented, so you re-answer nothing on site.
Start a completion visit#
- Open the project and tap the Inspection tab.
- Under Completion, tap Start completion photos — or Continue completion photos if you have been here before.
- A green Completion visit banner confirms the visit is running. Every photo you take on this checklist is stamped as a completion photo.
- When you are done, tap End visit — or leave the checklist; leaving the surface ends the visit.
Like an inspection, completion can span more than one trip. Come back another day, tap Continue completion photos, and that day's photos group as their own trip.
Work the checklist#
The checklist derives itself from the inspection: one overview tile per documented area, plus one tile for every item that had damage. Undamaged items never appear. Until the inspection has documented something, the checklist shows "Nothing to re-walk yet" — document the inspection first and the list fills itself in.
Each tile shows:
- The item, such as Front slope or Front — gutter.
- Its status: Done with a green check once an after photo is in the slot, otherwise Overview (an area re-take) or Was damaged (an item that needs an after shot).
- The caption the photo will carry, such as "Completed — front slope."
Tap the camera button on a tile to capture (tap to take a photo, hold for gallery). The photo lands in the same slot as the original damage photo, which is what makes before/after pairing automatic.
See the pairs#
Open the Photo Review tab and switch to the Before / After view: each completion photo sits beside the damage photo it answers. The view unlocks as soon as your first completion photo exists. An after shot whose slot never had a damage photo is listed under No before photo.
Completion photos and reports#
Completion photos stay out of the current report package: the FieldFaktor Inspection Report and FieldFaktor Photo Report never include them, so an after shot of a finished roof never contradicts the damage narrative — those reports print the inspection's photos, plus any general photos you toggle in. A dedicated completion report is not available yet — for now, the Before / After view and the Download All Photos zip in Photo Review are how you share the after story.
