The Team tab at app.fieldfaktor.com is where the Owner invites team members, tracks pending invites, and controls what each person sees. Everyone on the team can view the page; every management action on it is Owner-only — team members see "Your company owner adds and removes team members."

The tab at a glance#

Three stat cards summarize the roster: Active Team Members, Pending Invites, and Total Team (active plus pending). Next to them, the Add Team Members card holds the Add Member button.

Invite a team member#

  1. Click Add Member. The Invite Team Member dialog opens.
  2. Enter the person's First Name, Last Name, and Team Member Email.
  3. Optionally check Let them see every project. It is off by default: they see their own work and anything shared with them, and you can change this any time from the Team tab.
  4. Click Send Invite.

What happens next depends on the email address:

  • New to FieldFaktor — they receive an invite email. Clicking Accept Invitation takes them to a page where they set a password; the link expires in 7 days, and the same email and password sign them in to both the dashboard and the field app.
  • Already has a FieldFaktor account — no setup needed. They see your invitation the next time they sign in and accept it there. One person can belong to multiple companies at once.

Point new teammates at Join your team for their side of the process.

Pending invites#

Invites that have not been accepted yet appear in the Pending Invites table with the name, email, and invite date. Use Resend to send the email again or Cancel to withdraw the invite.

The team table#

The Team table lists every active member with their name, phone, email, current location, open project count (Active), and projects completed this month (Completed MTD). A search box filters the list.

Control who sees which projects#

By default a team member sees their own projects plus anything shared with or assigned to them. The per-member toggle in the Actions column switches that:

  • Enable view all — click to let this person see every project in the company. The button then reads Views all projects.
  • Views all projects — click to limit them back to their own projects and anything shared with them.

Assigning and sharing individual projects happens on the Projects list.

Remove a team member#

Click Remove next to the member. Their access to company projects is revoked, but the projects stay with the company and project history is preserved. If they still have open projects, the confirmation tells you how many — those projects remain with them on your dashboard until you reassign them.

Permissions in Settings → Team Management#

Company settings has a Team Management section with permission controls the Team tab does not show:

  • Team members can delete projects by default — a company-wide checkbox. When it is on, every team member can delete or archive projects.
  • Per-member Use credits — controls whether that member can generate reports, which spends project credits. A member with this off is blocked at generation time and told that report credit usage is turned off for their account.
  • Per-member Delete — grants delete permission to one member; it is disabled while the company-wide default is on. Owners always show Full access.

Settings → Team Management also has its own Add Member button (email only — new emails get an invite to set up a password, existing accounts are added immediately) and its own Remove action.
